Below is listed some training ideas for over the pre-season time, before the racing begins.These training sessions are designed to assist you to develop your fitness plus provide options which you can incorporate into your own training regime.

The programs are designed to cater for all levels of swimming. A one hour session will entail a range of sets aiming to improve ones technique, endurance and threshold level. In the presence of others it is easy exercise!

Running & Swimming

Generally the swim takes you upstream to the Lind bridge & return. Whilst the run is a single loop between the bridges.

    Mini Tri

Mini Tri’s are a great opportunity for beginners to ‘tri’ the sport of triathlon. It is also a great mid week session where all three disciplines are put together. The focus is to produce a personal best time each week you come along. The senior distance is 200m swim/9km bike/2km run. There is also a shorter distance for the kids.
